LogiMAT together with Zasche Handling GmbH

At this year’s LogiMAT, our partner Zasche Handling GmbH presented its new collaborative gantry robot unit, in which our Machine Vision API for the detection and unloading of truck brake disks is integrated. With the vision system from Vathos and a 3D sensor from Mech-Mind, heavy truck brake disks can be removed from a pallet cage and fed to a workstation via the gantry robot. A sophisticated safety system from Keyence ensures the safety of the employee. The complete collaborative gantry robot unit can now be configured and ordered in several variants from Zasche Handling. It is also possible to see the system in the showroom at the headquarter or at the upcoming Automatica trade fair in Munich (https://www.zasche.de/).
